Frequently asked questions:

For everyone who is looking for a new way to express their feelings, relax, and restore emotional balance.

I work with people from the age of 5.

1. The beginning. Introduction. The art therapist and the client(s) get to know each other, discuss the request for work, and note the basic rules of safety and confidentiality. A short meditation to start the process.

2. Creative stage. The art therapist provides instructions on how to complete the tasks. The participant(s) are given the opportunity to express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions through creative materials such as collage, drawing, modeling, etc. This stage can last from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the specific session.

3. Discussion of the created work. The art therapist facilitates a discussion of the created works, which can open up new insights and understandings for the participants. This can be a moment of reflection and interaction between participants. It is important to remember that everyone shares their feelings and no one evaluates the works. Important: if you don't feel like sharing, you don't have to, but sharing has a therapeutic effect during the session.

4. Modification (if necessary). We ask ourselves, “What do you want to do with the work?” Maybe add color, shape, elements, or even tear it up and create something new. We listen to our desire and act on it. If we don't want to change anything, we leave the work as it is. Then we discuss the results of the changes.

5. Conclusion and reflection. The session ends with a short reflection, where the participant(s) can share their impressions of the process and express their conclusions.

*Art therapy sessions may vary depending on the specific methodology, goals and needs of the participants.

1. Individual session: Classes for one person. Working out your personal request.

2. Pair session: A session for two people. Ideal for a date or time with loved ones.

3. Group session: Classes for 5 to 10 people. Suitable for friends, students, teachers, parents, networking.

4. Team Building: Commercial order for companies. Creative pastime for your team, improving relationships among colleagues. Up to 100 people.

My main tool in art therapy is collage, and we will combine it with other art forms: drawing, sculpting, music, photography, literature, movement, scents, movies, and other interesting things that we will explore together!

You do NOT need to have any experience in art. As a specialist, I guarantee creative versatility. Our task is not to “learn to draw” but to express ourselves through creative practices.

Art therapy unleashes your creative potential. It helps you to let off steam.

A deeper request in art therapy can be about trauma, fears, disorders, violence, relationships, career guidance, changes, etc. A consultation with an art therapist will help you determine the direction of work.

Art therapy is not about creating a “perfect” work. Rather, it is a process of creation and self-expression. Searching for and understanding yourself through art.

1. In art therapy, there is no ONE right way to create art. There is also no wrong way to create art. Whatever expression you create is yours - it IS. It is yours - unique and original!

2. Art therapy sessions are not about copying an already created image or work of art, but about finding and expressing your own feelings and thoughts. This is a very internal process of creating art, to which you just need to be open.

3. Many people get stuck when they have an idea of what their work “should” look like. They feel pressure and stress because of this “perfect” masterpiece of art. That's why there are no such “ideals” in art therapy. Goal: to feel your freedom, expressiveness and plunge “into the flow” while creating art.

4. Having a sample of a work of art gives the brain a structure and form to follow in terms of art. This is quite normal, but in art therapy we focus on the quiet part of our brain. We want the subconscious part of the brain to come out and express itself. Without the “models” (i.e., rules) of artworks, the subconscious brain can make its way and express itself freely.

I provide a safe space for you to express yourself without judgment. Everything said during the session remains confidential.

I am open to working with people of any gender, race, or orientation. Sexism, racism, homophobia, etc. are not tolerated in my practice.
